It was so cold last night...how cold was it???

-2 degrees...with a wind chill of 40 below zero...my kitchen pipes froze...and our house is well insulated...I haven't seen those temps since I lived in Buffalo New York one block off Lake Erie...so what did I do this morning???...grabbed my plastic slidie thingy and went sledding...Yep granny on a sled flying down the hill screaming like a banshee.....only made three trips, then I was pooped...freezing and pooped..but it felt good...

It was pinky-finger cold, if you get my drift.

I've been heating my room all day and it's still only 16 C. That's doable, but cosy is different...

Maybe fall is different in Oz, but here it's always raining. Trees all brown. Wet leaves everywhere. It's depressing. Really". The leaves all brown came tumbling down in september... All melancholic and sad...
